We’re hosting a collection of items on ebay , including items by Moschino, Prada, Dolce Gabbana, YSL, Dries van Noten, and more. These items were generously donated to raise funds for Randy Adams, brother of David Adams of David Adams Salon.
There Will Be Jam
We just got in a delicious selection of Jeannie’s Artisan Jams. These small jars of tastiness make the perfect hostess gift, stocking stuffer, or guilty pleasure. Our friend Jeannie uses mostly local, often organic ingredients, and with intoxicating flavor combinations like White Peach Lavender, Triple Ginger, Blood Orange Port Marmalade, Mango Meyer Lemon, and Strawberry Balsamic Fig, we know you won’t be able to resist picking up one or two.

Happy New Year – SALE
Like many, I’m happy to see the year begin! Lots of positive things are coming our way in 2011, I’m quite certain of it.
The first thing for the store is our annual 25% off Sale. Yes, that’s right. Everything. Is there something Santa forgot to leave under the tree? Do you have a store credit that’s yearning to be spent? Now’s a good time to splurge on a few indulgences and get great value. We still have a delightful selection of sweaters in toasty warm merino wool and cashmere, and quite a good selection of wonderful coats to keep you warm while the season continues its frosty madness. See you soon!
If you’re on Facebook, and you “like” us, then you know what to do!
Link – The 3/50 Project
As we head into this holiday shopping season, it’s important to remember the small businesses that make our community unique. I just discovered the 3/50 Project, which is promoting this very idea. Check them out, and see what a difference you can make in your neighborhood.

It’s Cashmere Season
We’ve got a rainbow of super-soft cashmere sweaters just in time for the cold weather that’s right around the corner.
It’s easy to care for cashmere. I hand wash mine in cool water and then dry them flat. Higher quality cashmeres won’t pill, but any pilling that occurs in your cashmere or wool sweaters can be removed by brushing them lightly with mild sandpaper.
Vintage Head to Toe
Sometimes we have such fun being your personal stylist! A recent customer had an event for which she needed the perfect vintage ensemble. After trying on several options, she finally settled on this 1950s shimmering black knit dress, the harvest pillbox hat (see two posts below,) a Napier gold bead rope, and coordinating clip earrings. Definitely vintage chic!
